Is He punishing me? Yet, thinking of it as a punishment implies that you did something worth being punished for - and I've known some wonderful people who were stricken with a horrible disease (Patty, my beautiful and wonderful mother in law, to name just one) who did nothing warranting this kind of punishment. And what about the children who are stricken with a horrible disease? I've come to an uneasy compromise in my thinking. God "allows" things to happen for reasons only He understands. Sometimes you have to give up on understanding and move on to dealing.Bookladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10083821352830737883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5261495673109441165.post-53213154102728334332011-01-27T06:19:00.905-08:002011-01-27T06:19:00.905-08:00I have no idea why these things happen to good peo...I have no idea why these things happen to good people but have to believe it is God's way of teaching something to either the person who is going through this illness or to the people who love and care for that person. Either way, it seems like a hard way to learn a lesson.Suenoreply@blogger.com
